Have you heard of this before? I believe in this approach but there is a catch, Are you going to invest the difference? Most people are attracted to the lower cost of Term insurance and they over look that fact that it expires. Here is an example: A term policy might cost $25 for 30 years. A whole life policy for the same death benefit might cost $100. The difference is $75 a month. $75 a month invest at 7% for 30 years will be $88,000. If you get a 10% return it will be $157,000. So it depends on two factors, your rate of return and will you invest the money.

My suggestion is to buy two policies. A term to have a larger death benefit during your working years. Then a permanent policy to cover you until death. You will be able to leave an inheritance.

My final thought is this, I am here to do what is best for the client.
